The Abbott Family Leadership Conference has been a Memorial Student Center Program at Texas A&M University since 1995. Each year 66 Aggie students are chosen as Delegates to the Abbott Conferences ( 33 delegates to the San Antonio Conference and 33 delegates to the Austin Conference). The students are challenged to examine their personal value system and how they choose to apply it towards their lives, both as leaders at Texas A&M and in their future business, community, and famly relationships. The impact of the conference may lead them to live by high ethical and moral standards. The way a life is lived reveals the values, beliefs, and commitments of that person, and those elements demonstrate what each individual believes to be their purpose in life.
